• 905 artist entries will be accepted.

• The top 120 artists will advance to our live stream, MCAA bracket-style format, on YouTube.

• To break into the top 120, you'll need your fans, friends, and family to vote for you each day.

• Voting begins on March 1st and concludes on March 10th.

• Artists who are inside the top 120 will proceed to the scheduled Qualifier rounds, live on YouTube. At this point, It’s ALL about the music!

• The top four artists from each of our eight Qualifier rounds on YouTube will advance to our the Top 32.

• 32 Artists will compete until we have our Sweet 16

• Sweet 16 compete until we have our ELITE 8

• 8 artists compete until we have our Final 4 + Finals event!

• The winner of the 2024 Whozdope Tournament will receive $5,000, with prizes for second and  third place to be determined.

Judging criteria for the Qualifier Round include:

 

1. Quality of Music

2. Replay Value (likelihood of listeners replaying your song)

3. Originality

4. Melody and lyrical content

5. Ability to hold a viewer's attention

In every Qualifier, winning the favor of both Kayo and the live chat is crucial. Having your support system participate in the live streams can greatly enhance your chances! If Kayo faces difficulty in determining the winner, a LIVE POLL feature on YouTube will step in to decide the victor.
